Hygiene Hub with collaboration with SETU Waterford are coming to Rowe Creating Medical Practice!

We are organising a Hygiene Drive to collect as many hygiene products as possible in collaboration with the Waterford Food Bank. All donated items will be distributed to local communities in Waterford. Our most requested items are: Shampoo, Shower gel, Toothpaste & Brush, Deodorant, cleaning products, Nappies & wipes. Drop in to the foyer of the Waterford Health Park on this Thursday 21st November and donate an item or two to help those in need. Let’s come together to create a positive impact in our community!

If you are visiting the surgery with your child and would like to use our Neuroaffirming pack, please ask the receptionist at the desk who will give access to the the Pack while waiting for the doctor or nurse.

• Ear defenders (to reduce noise sensitivity)
• Green glasses (to help reduce light sensitivity associated with our fluorescent lights)
• Weighted lap pad (provides input to the muscles in the lap to reduce anxiety)
• Social story about attending our G.P practice
• Selection of fidgets (reduce anxiety)
• Neuroaffirming story book to enjoy

Our phone lines to the practice are down due to technical difficulties, we are working on getting them back to normal service as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

The income threshold to be eligible for a GP visit card has been increased, so more people than ever may qualify for free GP visits.

We will be running mass Covid 19 Pfizer Booster Clinics here at the Waterford Health Park on Thursday 6th January

You can have the pfizer booster vaccine if you are aged over 16 year’s old, If it is more than 3 months since your 2nd Covid Vaccine

Or If you haven’t had Covid in the last 3 months.

Anyone who has had the single dose Jansen J&J and are not registered as a patient are welcome to avail of the pfizer booster here at our practice.

We have finished all our 1st dose Clinics. Everyone who has not yet had a vaccine will be vaccinated in the coming weeks through the HSE Mass Vaccination Clinic in the WIT arena. If you are a close contact or have symptoms, you can attend any COVID-19 test centre without an appointment.
You need to bring photo ID and provide a mobile phone number.
